Starco is one of a small number of contractors in the area with successful experience in manufacturing prefabricated piping systems and fabricating and installing process piping. Our combination of highly trained technicians and specialized equipment enable us to provide a full range of services, including ASME code work, for installations of all sizes and configurations.
Process Piping
Starco has more than 30 years of experience in fabricating and installing process piping in widely diversified installations. Our craftsmen are experienced in the use of all types of piping materials, including carbon steels, stainless steels, various steel alloys, aluminum, copper and plastics. We have installed systems that use these materials to convey steam, condensate, deionized water, chemicals, gases and industrial wastes.
We also install piping systems for high pressure and high temperature applications and cryogenic systems with low temperature and vacuum requirements.
High Standards and Qualifications
Starco is one of just a few contractors in the area authorized to do ASME code work, a measure of our commitment to the highest quality standards. We hold ASME stamps for PP, R, UM and U categories, and our welders can perform all work associated with these certifications.
ASME certification means Starco is authorized to install, perform quality control work and do testing and repairs on pressure vessels and piping. Our quality control program assures that all work is tested in accordance with the rigid requirements established by ASME.

Starco has many years of experience in manufacturing prefabricated piping systems. Our prefabricated units range from welded piping assemblies for installation at the job site to more complicated calorimeter assemblies distributed worldwide.
One of very few piping prefabrication shops in the area, our experience has proven that prefabrication results in superior quality, improved delivery schedules and lower costs. Because prefabrication is done in a controlled environment with special equipment, it removes such variables as weather, interruption by other crafts, and other job site conditions, allowing us to control production and assure quality.
Skilled, experienced craftsmen perform all phases of prefabrication, from design sketches through the final assembly of prefabricated units. Our qualified workers receive training through the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 162 Journeyman and Apprentice Training Program. In addition, they work with Starco's experienced management team to keep abreast of the latest advancements and changes in technology.
